  5. Provide your pets with nutritional supplements. Baby dragons would require calcium supplements three times a week and a reptile multivitamin once a month. Adult dragons can stay healthy with a good diet and calcium supplements once a week and monthly multivitamin supplements.
  6. Feed your dragons a plate to avoid ingesting substrates.

  1. Do not feed your dragons spinach as they contain a high level of oxalic acid which interferes with calcium absorption.
  2. Do not give your bearded dragons wild insects, as they may have been exposed to pesticides.
  3. Do not feed your reptiles insects or animals that are swampy to them, as this can cause paralysis, intestinal impaction, and even death.
  4. Your bearded dragon is an omnivorous creature. This means that you prefer a diet that is made up of both plant and animal materials. Providing them with a nutritious variation of greens, greens, fruits, and animal food sources can keep them healthy. However, you must remember that optimal health cannot be achieved with a good diet alone.
