Good news that will make you happy

I have some good news to share with you. I learned from the four lepers in 2 Kings 7 who had good news to share that I wouldn’t be doing the right thing if I didn’t share it too. Without a doubt, this day is a day of good news. The lepers had stumbled upon the Syrian camp and found it deserted. After serving themselves food and loot, they remembered the starving people of Samaria, locked in as a result of a Syrian siege. His response was: “We are not doing the right thing. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent” (v.9). So they went and told their fellow Israelites about the provisions.

Despite their physical and social handicaps, lepers thought of others. They were grateful for what they had found and considered it too good to keep to themselves. Do you know someone who needs to know what Jesus has done? Don’t make excuses for what you lack in skills, instead he shares the good news of what the Lord has done for you, and your life will take on a new purpose.

However, in this series of articles, I will be delivering good news that will keep you constantly happy, without fail. Remember when God sent His angel with a tidings, the angel referred to the tidings or tidings of the birth of the Savior, Christ the Lord, who came to bring or announce to the shepherds, as “Glad tidings of great joy.” that is, “good news or news that should cause great joy to the listener.” The reason is that humanity had been condemned by sin and its consequences and needed a Savior but none was available (Ezekiel 18:4; Romans 6:23; 10:15; Luke 2:10-11; Psalm 49:7 – 8).

God in His infinite love, mercy and grace offered to provide a Savior for humanity in the person of His Son Jesus Christ (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-9; Rom.8:32). The former being the case, the news of the birth or arrival of that Savior of mankind is good news or glad tidings, and one that should bring great joy to the listener who appreciates the terrible consequences of sin and what it is to have a Savor and be saved from it (Acts 8:29-39; Lk.15:7, 10). Then it becomes a terrible and unfortunate thing for anyone in the world not to find the news or the message of a Savior that has been provided for the world; and a testimony of a sinner being saved from sin, a thing of great joy or something to greatly rejoice over, like the angels (Lk.2:13:14; 15:7,10).

The Bible, which is the book of God’s revelations of His will and truths to man, contains many good news or good news of great joy, that is, revelations or information that are good and should cause great joy to the listener. In fact, I can confidently say that the Bible is the source of real or true joy and hope. And if someone wishes to have real and true joy or hope, they should read the Bible for blessed information or revelations that can gladden the heart and create hope for good in time and in eternity. Any joy or hope that someone has or finds in or from anything or anywhere is never real, true and permanent, but is a false and ephemeral or short-lived joy or hope.

In this series, I will consider some Biblical good news of great joy and hope and draw out great joy, assurance, and hope for us. However, I will consider all that I can and leave the sincere truth seeker with the Bible to explore the rest of the good news for his own benefit. It should be noted that the purpose or goal of this consideration or exploration of all the good news in this series of articles is to help us live a life of true joy and hope in this world or consciously take advantage of such news for our time. and eternal good.
