The harmful viral disease that arises in the tropics, transmitted by mosquitoes, for which we suffer from sudden fever and severe joint pain, is called Dengue. It is the most common disorder today. Now we will discuss its symptoms, prevention and treatment as follows.

Symptoms

There are certain symptoms of dengue by which we can easily predict the disorder. Dengue symptoms are explained as follows.

High fever

Fever is the common disorder, but high fever is the symptom of dengue. In other words, when a person suffers from a high fever, then it is likely that they are in the trap of this disease.

Heavy sweating

Sweating is good for your health, but heavy sweating is the sign of this disease. Therefore, if a person faces severe sweating, we should go for diagnostic tests for this disease.

Joint pain

Joint pain is the common problem, but it should not be neglected as it is a sign of this disease which is serious.

Vomiting and nausea

Vomiting and nausea are signs of many diseases, but they are also signs of this disease that should be diagnosed as soon as possible.

Loss of appetite

Food is necessary for our body. Provides energy to the body. Loss of appetite is an indication of this disease.

Low blood pressure

To have a healthy life, our blood pressure must be normal. Low blood pressure is the sign of this disease.

Skin rash

This disease can be diagnosed by looking at the indication of skin rashes.

Swelling

If our hands and feet swell, it is the consequence of this disease. In severe conditions, blood platelets and blood pressure are reduced to the maximum.

Prevention

As this disease is dangerous for our body, some precautions must be taken to avoid this disease. These precautions are as follows.

We must avoid visiting tropical or subtropical areas as these areas are much more subject to this disease.

1. Water storage must be improved.

2. Waste must be disposed of properly.

3. Water stagnation should be strictly avoided.

4. The mosquito repellants used must contain 10% DEET, but we must also read the warning label carefully. Mosquito repellants such as calendula and lemongrass should be used.

5. Dark colored clothing should be avoided as dark tones attract mosquitoes. Light colored clothing with wide sleeves should be worn.

Treatment

There is no particular drug to treat this disorder. Pomegranate juice and other dietary liquids should be taken to recover and cure it. You must take a good rest to recover from this disease. Acetaminophen and codeine should be taken for joint pain and severe headache.
