Mario Kart – The Original Series

Crazy enough, I remember when Super Mario Brothers first came out on the original Nintendo system. Because I loved this game, I followed Nintendo’s newest games and systems.

One of the reasons I enjoy Mario Kart is the fact that I can play with familiar characters, but with much better technology and graphics. I thought it was a lot of fun playing against my friends on the multiplayer maps.

If you are a fan of Mario Brothers, you will be familiar with the Mario Kart characters: Mario, Luigi, Wario, Bowser, Princess Toadstool, among others.

Mario Kart characters race in karts. Sounds very simple, right? Although it is very funny.

Each go-kart has its own capabilities and racing style. And my favorite aspect of all this is the opportunity to compete.

Most modes have the ability to have at least 4 people playing. This game continued on to the next two game systems, including the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube. Some versions of the game are also available for Gameboys.

When Mario Kart became available on the Wii, I thought I was dead and gone to heaven. For some it may be quite surprising to see that this game has been so popular for so many years. For me, it’s like playing with old friends. It’s no surprise at all that Mario and his friends have stood the test of time.

Therefore, as new technology comes out into the market, it is quite fascinating to see the younger generation catching a love for this game.
