Simply put, it’s a way to get your company logo or an image onto another website. This logo will remain on that website for a minimum of 5 years. Graphic banner advertising is nothing new on the internet, but this pixel advertising is slightly new. In a traditional banner with a dimension of 468 pixels by 60 pixels, you will have around 276 blocks. Each block is made of 100 pixels. Through pixel advertising, in that space you can advertise 276 websites since each website only bought 1 block from you.

Will pixel advertising work?

The media took notice of this and many stories have been written about the page, sending a huge amount of traffic to that particular site. So that site was a success. However, once you are out of the media spotlight, there is no reason for visitors to return to that site. Therefore, it is too soon for anyone to predict whether the investment made by advertisers to buy space on such a site is worth it.

However, there are many advantages to buying a part from another website to place your logo on it. Looking at it from a search engine optimization strategy, once you have a lot of links coming to your site from other sites, the search engines rank you high. They rate your site as a high-demand site. Therefore, buying some blocks on sites that can be active for another five years would be a great idea to drive traffic to your site through search engines.
