“The networking factor, everyone matters!” This slogan reminds me of another personal creed from one of the greatest motivators in the country… Zig Ziglar says, “You can have anything you want in life if you help enough people get what they want!” I am sure that Mary Kay Ash shared the stage and/or conversations with Zig Ziglar. What was her magic formula?

They all matter! That’s all, you ask… yes, that’s all!

Networking is an overused word in today’s society. However, everyone is important is the basis of understanding people.

Also, be careful when presenting who you are and place a lot of weight on your headline. In this changing economy, how many high-level executives have you seen at the top until the company went bankrupt and they were unemployed? Now I’m sure the President, CEO, COO and VP were well served with severance packages from TWA (TRANS WORLD AIRLINES), but what happened to all the top well paid executives of that airline? Hmm!

If what you do is the validation of who you are, what happens when you no longer do it?

Mary Kay Ash was one of the richest women in the world. At the time of her death, she had consultants in 30 countries. One of the secrets to her success was that she imagined that everyone she knew was wearing a sign that said, “Make me feel important,” and that’s what she did!

Again, you ask, was that all? That my friend is the basis for connecting with people in the long term.
