Cocaine is Most Popular Drugs in World or Not?

Cocaine

the song, “Copper Detail”, by The Doobie Brothers, lyrics suggest that a cocaine high can be just as dangerous as heroin or alcohol high. It’s easy to see why this is a very dangerous idea. Cocaine elevates the heart rate, causes vasodilation, and constricts blood vessels in the head. This can lead to a massive surge in blood pressure, which can cause death from an acquired brain injury.

While the Doobies are obviously a classic band, many other groups have made hits about high flying cocaine use. One of my all time favorite songs, by Def Leppard, has the lyrics, “High on the mountain, off the coast, I’m high on the mountain.” How much more powerful a message could that be than to suggest using cocaine to get high?

The first song on their greatest hits album, Wonderful Tonight, has the lyrics, “This is the last time I’ll do this.” That’s a pretty powerful statement for a song written about cocaine. This would be a pretty big claim to make for a song written decades ago, yet it remains a popular hit. A lot of music artists, including many musicians who died long ago, wrote songs about experimenting with drugs, and some of those songs are still incredibly popular. ” slowerhand” is a phrase from one of my earlier articles, about the dangers of cocaine, and I included that information because it still holds true today.

In one song by the Black Sabbath, the lyrics suggest, “I had a dream last night / About leaving town tonight with my gear behind / But I woke up this morning / With a clean slate.” Now, that could be taken out of context, and it might even sound like a drug boast, but these are not the sort of things you hear everyday. More likely, the lyrics say something like, “dreamed about leaving town tonight/ With my gear behind me.” The dream was probably about quitting marijuana, and the lyrics are about leaving behind the past and moving forward. The song is about leaving the past behind so that you can move forward.

I was listening to the song, “Drifter,” by the Black Sabbath, which was released in September 1974. Now, the song is considered a very heavy metal, and the lyrics are really dark and really intense. It contains some pretty heavy metal guitar riffs, and the song is about drug use and the lifestyle that comes with it.

Of course, there are a lot of great songs about cocaine that have been covered over the years. One of the more popular songs, which has been covered by countless musicians, is by Nine Inch Nails, and it’s called, “Cocaine.” That song describes the lifestyle of a drug user and includes some incredibly hard hitting guitar work from Justin Timberlake.
