How and why to wake up earlier

While many prefer to stay in bed and put off that button, waking up early has its benefits. It is a challenge for anyone who cannot sleep early. And while for a small minority of people, mornings are not their best time and they should sleep in late, for most of us who start work in the morning, there are advantages and there are ways how to do it.

Let’s first list some advantages:

You can have a moment of relaxation before leaving for work. Trying to get to work 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time is always a good habit, as problems with traffic or anything that happens along the way can delay you, so you can be on time despite the setbacks along the way. If you are part of a loving couple, you can enjoy a special hug in the morning, further consolidating your relationship. Or you can go and enjoy a sport, from the gym to a morning walk or a 5-minute morning yoga routine. If you are a meditator or tapping, you can do your meditation or tapping in the morning as soon as you wake up. Or you can simply enjoy watching the dawn evolve while listening to life outside slowly waking up.

In order to get up early, of course, you need to sleep early enough. This depends on your day, so, for example, if every Tuesday night, you have a personal trainer or a yoga class or a Reiki action, and only then come home at 10 p.m., you will have to go to bed almost immediately. . This requires some planning. For example, being able to have an early dinner somehow. Most people agree that eating a large meal right before bed is not ideal.

So how can we go to sleep earlier?

I like to use EFT. Short for Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as Tapping, EFT can help you relax into sleep. Tapping for “I go to bed happily at 10 pm”, for example, can help release any objections from your subconscious mind. You may need to do this for a few weeks for the full effect to take place, but it only takes a few minutes so it’s easy to do. For some, sleeping is always a problem, because they get up frequently because they are a light sleeper. This is also where EFT can help. EFT can free the stuck energy traces left in your mind-body of negative events that you probably think you have dealt with that are no longer affecting you. However, its cumulative effect may still lurk in your mind-body, causing you to sleep more and more lightly. Nutrition is important too, and it’s good to consult an experienced functional nutritionist to make sure all nutritional needs for sleep are addressed. For the EFT in this case, it is good to use an experienced EFT practitioner, so that the sleep is safe so that you can enter the night more easily.
